Studio Oddworld Inhabitants introduced us to one of gaming’s iconic universes back in 1997, when Abe’s Oddysee launched on the original PlayStation. Abe’s big-hearted courage and weaponised bodily functions brought tears to our eyes, paving the way for numerous sequels, spin-offs, HD remakes, and ports to pretty much every platform currently available.

While that first game in the series has since made its way to iPhone and iPad in the form of New ‘N’ Tasty, it hasn’t yet seen a release on Apple TV, which is a shame. It’s also odd, considering the third and fourth games in the series – Munch’s Oddysee and Stranger’s Wrath – have made their way to Apple’s digital-only console.

It’s those that have given ATVG cause to fire up the Mac and punch out this quick story today, as Oddworld’s two representatives on Apple TV are currently on sale.
