Evoland 2’s Trailer Is Like A Trip Through A Gaming Wormhole

It’s often said that moments before death, your life flashes before your eyes. Well if that’s the case, then watching Evoland 2’s trailer is like watching the dying memories of a hardcore, middle-aged gamer, as the evolution of gaming flashes by, moments before succumbing to the white light.

French studio Shiro Games, via publisher Playdigious, is looking to go bigger and broader in every way with its Evoland sequel, cramming in a bucketload of gaming genres and references to tickle your nostalgia bone.

It’s been a good couple of days for RPGs on Apple TV, with Chrono Trigger releasing yesterday, and Evoland 2 today. Giddy-up.
