Two New Raids Coming To Shadowgun Legends In May Update

Update: Madfinger Games announced Friday night that the big content update has been delayed until the end of May, and instead pushed out a smaller update last week to pave the way for the bigger one, squashing a bunch of bugs. Delays are never fun, but I’d rather be able to play the two new raids smoothly than receive a broken update. Silver lining folks. Read on for ATVG’s original piece detailing what you can now expect towards the end of the month.

Original Story:

MMOs are a marathon, not a sprint.

They constantly evolve over time, growing with each new update as they’re balanced and tweaked, with studios shifting focus and pivoting as player-feedback helps to guide these complex machines with many moving parts.

We recently dropped our full review of Shadowgun Legends from Madfinger Games, and while it has its flaws, ATVG highly recommends you add this excellent sci-fi FPS MMO to your Apple TV gaming library. For the price of entry, which is nothing, you’ll get a hell of a lot of game.

And there’s more on the way.

The constant tweaking and balancing will always be a big part of any MMO, but new content will always be the most exciting for players. In Madfinger Games’ eigthteenth MADstream this week, the studio dropped a whole bunch of news about a huge slice of new content coming very soon, and we’ve boiled it down for your reading pleasure.

3 Reasons Why You Should Grab Le Parker: Sous Chef Extraordinaire

There are 2D platform games that you play in order to lazily explore their beautiful, artfully designed worlds, collecting coins and uncovering secret areas at your leisure, with no real fear of death.

Then there are 2D platform games you play because they are brutally difficult, and you love a well-designed, thoughtfully crafted challenge. In these games, death comes not from a lazy implementation of mechanics by the developer, but because you simply weren’t good enough. But you know that with practice, you will be.

Le Parker: Sous Chef Extraordinaire from studio Play Pretend is a healthy mixture of both.

We’ve reviewed it before here at ATVG, and it’s just received a significant update.
